Dom Sweeten is a producer and DJ with an extensive production history in hard house, breaks and underground club grooves, with original releases and remixes spanning labels such as Tripoli Trax, Mohawk, Bulletproof, Recharge, Rising High, Short Circuit, Tidy Trax, Nukleuz, TEC etc. as well as in-house labels Kaktai Records, Spinball Records and Spidertrax.
Dom’s unique production style has carved it’s own highly respected groove with DJs and label owners alike, helping to build a considerable back catalog of productions pulling influences from his early free party days and Brighton beach parties. Dom’s aliases include Defective Audio, Base Graffiti, OD404, Hyperloop, Freeflow45, Satellite Kidz, Tomcat, DSP, Dominguez Funk and El Durangoz.
This eclectic production style filters through to Dom’s characteristic DJing edge, often not conforming to genre specific mixing styles but a fast moving layering of grooves that keep audiences on the move. Not the usual stereotypical showman, Dom often stays under the radar and prefers to let the music do the talking. After all, we’re there to dance.
